Most commonly used for its large recovery/fluidity ratio, cotton filters are perfect for rinsing sinks that collect coarse residue. Since cotton is biodegradable, the filter and its contents can go straight to compost! The broken ring can be recycled.
Applications: restaurants, food preparation
Nylon (RHNBR)
This material is suitable for applications requiring fine filtering, like washing sinks, and where debris is somewhat smaller.
Applications: coffee, soil.
